Space Awareness MOOC is under way

Space Awareness project partners, University of Leiden, Ellinogermaniki Agogi, European Schoolnet and Núcleo Interactivo de Astronomia have prepared a unique course to empower teachers and educators to introduce space-related topics in the classroom.

This MOOC is the first from a series of four MOOCs, and it provides rich content on how to successfully teach space-related topics based on:

• The Inquiry-Based Science Education teaching approach

• The effective use of ICT tools

• Managing diversity and obtaining a gender balance in the classroom

• Introducing and attracting young people to careers in space

You can enroll now and start with Module 1. One new module will open every week on Monday. It is estimated that about 3 hours per week are required to complete all the work included in each module.
