Following last March’s great success with more than 1000  schools from around the world involved in the activity, we are happy to announce the Eratosthenes Experiment September 2016, which will take place on the 22nd  of September, 2016!

Only few days left before the Inspiring Science Education Summer Academy 2016 starts in Marathon, Greece.

The sixth edition of ESA-GTTP teacher training is now open for applications. The workshop will be held at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, between 23 and 27 November, 2015. A limited number of places are available.

This year the Eratosthenes experiment will take place on the 23 September, on the autumnal equinox day. Take part through your school by registering at the website with your school’s longitude and latitude.

Many students often argue that the school science curriculum they have is so packed that eventually they forget most of the things they learn at school shortly after they graduate, especially when they continue their studies on irrelevant subjects.
